Settling into my parents' house to start my fourth clinical rotation... The first one of my last semester. I'm hoping everything goes well tomorrow but I'm a little worried.
1. Hospital is in middle of nowhere... winter weather advisory in effect
2. First day of class and I already had to talk to the teacher... totally not my fault someone snaps and threatens to poke my eye out with a pencil... *sigh*
3. Was home 20 minutes and halfway into my Physics homework when my mom decided to give me "rules".
Oh boy... a thirty year old with rules. I know I'm encroaching and I feel bad enough already. Now I feel worse about it. I'm only praying tomorrow goes well. Usually after my body gets back in tune with the early morning crap, I can go back to writing...
And yes, I really love ultrasound. No one who puts up with all the torture of the program and graduates can possibly hate it. If I didn't love it I wouldn't show up to be raked over coals every day with no pay, to have piles and piles of paperwork to do... reports, image ids, portfolios... it's a lot of work...
And, now, off to bed praying to every higher power I can think of and holding every lucky charm I could find.
Hold my cat turd... what? They're NOT lucky...
Trying to hang on,
Jennifer
Follow author Jennifer Feuerstein through the trials and fun of writing. I'll be discussing my books, my future plans, and the fun of dealing with an entire cast of characters living "upstairs" while moving through life. Welcome to the ramblings of The Crowded Mind.
About Me
- Jennifer Feuerstein
- Being an author is an amusing series of ups and downs. As a self-published writer, there are a lot of stories going on at once. A lot of stories means a lot of characters bouncing around and a lot of juggling. It's not easy being an author of fantasy in the real world, but I try to get by.
