So, I've received a little gift from Mother Nature. She dumped enough snow and ice to give everyone in my area a snow day, kids and adults. It was mostly the ice that was the problem, but the 12 inches of snow with blowing and drifting up to 6 feet in areas didn't help.
I actually got to sleep in and catch up on my zzz's. I plan on getting dressed here shortly and then tickling my nephew till he can't breathe. And I have a roleplay scenario to do tonight that will kick ass. Then I can just write until bedtime. Hopefully the roads are clear by tomorrow morning, I want to get back to clinic.
I feel really good, only the cheer of having everyone home and a day to myself can do that. Seriously, it's been ages since I had a day all to myself... it's gonna be awesome.
Well, time to eat and bundle up. ;-)
Soon to be a snow angel,
Jennifer
Follow author Jennifer Feuerstein through the trials and fun of writing. I'll be discussing my books, my future plans, and the fun of dealing with an entire cast of characters living "upstairs" while moving through life. Welcome to the ramblings of The Crowded Mind.
About Me
- Jennifer Feuerstein
- Being an author is an amusing series of ups and downs. As a self-published writer, there are a lot of stories going on at once. A lot of stories means a lot of characters bouncing around and a lot of juggling. It's not easy being an author of fantasy in the real world, but I try to get by.
