Thy name is school conference trip and physics. Yeah, thought you'd yawn. Think about it this way though because we know I am.
I'll be trapped in a large hotel with hundreds of mostly women (not a lot of men sign up for this program, and even fewer complete it). Do I sound like a mostly woman kind of gal to you??
Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoy the company of most of my classmates and I've managed to shack up with great roommates who I won't want to kill... But add in the paranoia settling in from my last clinic site and well, my brain will be on conspiracy theory overload. Not to mention I have a wonderful meeting to look forward to on Monday -did you catch the sarcasm?- that I'll be worrying about all weekend.
Hmm.. thought I was packed but maybe I should throw the TUMS in my bag???
Okay so I'll stop at the gas station for:
Tums
ear plugs
Gloves (seriously mine are a wreck)
Snacks and drinks
...... what else would throw girls off my trail if I have to run???
Ah, yes, I'll buy lots of Bieber merchandise that I can stash in my bag and toss out as I make my escape... I'll call them distractors.... (that's an inside joke on test taking strategy)
Well... guess the slippery white road (no kidding, we got 9-12 inches of snow here) won't wait no longer...
Come on pony, let's slide our way into that land called Trouble...
Praying for peace, but preparing for war...

Follow author Jennifer Feuerstein through the trials and fun of writing. I'll be discussing my books, my future plans, and the fun of dealing with an entire cast of characters living "upstairs" while moving through life. Welcome to the ramblings of The Crowded Mind.
About Me
- Jennifer Feuerstein
- Being an author is an amusing series of ups and downs. As a self-published writer, there are a lot of stories going on at once. A lot of stories means a lot of characters bouncing around and a lot of juggling. It's not easy being an author of fantasy in the real world, but I try to get by.
Hope you have a safe trip and everything goes well for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It ended up being fun and educational in a different sort of way. It's funny where and how we learn things.
