About Me

Being an author is an amusing series of ups and downs. As a self-published writer, there are a lot of stories going on at once. A lot of stories means a lot of characters bouncing around and a lot of juggling. It's not easy being an author of fantasy in the real world, but I try to get by.

Yikes!

So, as if my schedule wasn't already overloaded...

I just found a new job. A full time one that won't give me the time to write while I'm working. Yeah, it's a trade off for better wages and health care, but it had to be done. I've also still got to start on packing up our current home for our future move. Which will happen after cleaning up the new house. The to do list is HUGE and growing.

But I like challenges right? Yep, it's become my mantra lately. At least I seem to be picking up on my new job quickly. I've down well enough after two days of training that I progressed to taking most of the calls tonight. And, yes, tonight was my second night. I made three mistakes yesterday and none tonight. I like to think that was a difference in my trainers.

And I'm training late hours with still no idea what hours I'll be regularly working, so my internal clock is major wonky. Oh, and did I mention I'm training AROUND my last two weeks at the hotel. Yeah, like those challenges... I like challenges... (deep breaths)

So, on the writing trail... Have you read the Digital Digest work yet? It really is amazing and offers something for everyone. Missed posts or want to read ahead, buy the ezine
you can purchase the Digital Digest Volume I anthology as an ebook for only $.99.

Yeah, had to throw a plug in there. We're starving artists and we need the money... please please please buy and pass along the word. (winks) And thank you!! I have to say my Daria post won't be until the end of July but it is really great! You'll have a good laugh!!
