About Me

Being an author is an amusing series of ups and downs. As a self-published writer, there are a lot of stories going on at once. A lot of stories means a lot of characters bouncing around and a lot of juggling. It's not easy being an author of fantasy in the real world, but I try to get by.

Time marches on...

They say time flies while you're having fun. I don't subscribe to this idea. I think time flies when you're busy. Think about it, when you're having fun you are actually busy... I hope.  Time can also fly when you're not having fun, so that disproves the saying right?

Well, it certainly is like that in my life. School is winding down to commencement and everyone is in a rush to finish everything on time. There is so much to do to prepare for the big event and because of that, my writing has had to take a back burner. Of course, my brain functioning how it does, I don't do well when I go long periods without writing... can you say MUTINY...

That's where things like Sebastion's Story and my forum come in handy. I don't have to concentrate too hard on writing long pieces. I can do them in short bursts. Especially with my forum characters who can just play at will. I can "write" on a whim and help clear out the cobwebs.

Thanks to the forum roleplay activity, I've been picked up by a great friend to be part of an authors' blog coming in June. I'll post more details on that when we get closer, but it is exciting.

As of today there are 13 days of school remaining. Weeee... However, thanks to my aforementioned funk, I will probably have to attend my clinic site for an extra two weeks or so. Really it's for more practice and hopefully doesn't affect my graduation status. I've been told it won't, but going through this program tends to make a person more suspicious and paranoid.

It better not affect my status... I just decorated my graduation regalia last night. If they say I can't graduate... well, let's not go there and invite bad news in.

Thank you for everyone's continued support and patience as I finish this chapter on my life. Now for a few writing updates.
1. Destiny Fulfilled just needs tweaking on the ending and then final editing before it's release hopefully early this summer.
2. Check out the new Dubhan on my FB author page... my mom does great work!
3. Sebastian's story will go to print after Destiny Fulfilled with more than what's on Wattpad.com. I'll be adding more information for those who'd like to purchase it.
4. The cover for Sebastian's Story and Destiny Fulfilled are finished but are staying under wraps for now.
5. Once school is over, I'll be revising all editions of my book to remove missed typos and make them more marketable to epublishing and such. I just don't have time right now.
6. Aidan's story will be next in the Tuatha line up. Look for more information on that later.
7. There is also another series in the works... and that's all I'll say on that subject for now. ;-)
8. At least for the next year or so, I'm planning on only releasing one title per year. I'll be working to take my registries for credentialing AND completing my Bachelors degree. This could change depending on my available free time and how quickly the stories come to me, but I don't want to overload myself again.

As always I welcome your questions and feedback.
Jennifer
