Someone mentioned about having crazy schedules... someone else mentioned hating vacations... Glad I'm not the only one...
I've been a workaholic for EVER! I think I was born working. Considering
I finally put one great big goal to rest -graduating college- I figured
I'd take a day or two off.
Holy freaking cow... did that turn into an experiment gone crazy. I
turned off all the tech stuff, even glared at my phone the few times it
dared to chime its presence, and curled up with a few good books...
devouring them like a starving woman in front of a chocolate buffet.
Thinking it would recharge and relax me right? Nothing could be further
from the truth... I feel like I got hit by a bus from the inside. I
actually questioned my sanity -what's left of it- yesterday.
I guess one can not hope to quiet the voices for too long without
earning a repercussion. *snicker* Next time I'll just take away their
keys...
And holy crap... did I really just get a phone call with a temporary ultrasound job offer...
The rollercoaster starts again... phew... about damn time...
